QR Code Generator

You can generate QR codes for URLs, plain text, WiFi network credentials, and email addresses. Each type formats the data so that QR scanners interpret it correctly. The tool also includes a built-in QR decoder to read any existing QR code from an image.

The Scanability Score rates your QR code from 0 to 100 based on three factors: color contrast ratio (WCAG standard), data density relative to QR capacity, and error correction level. A score of 65 or above means your code will scan reliably on most devices.

The Anatomy tab color-codes every module in your QR code by function: finder patterns for scanner orientation, timing patterns for coordinate mapping, alignment patterns for distortion correction, format and version info, and the actual data region. You can toggle each region on or off and see module counts.

Enter two different texts or change error correction levels and the Compare tab generates both QR codes side by side with a diff overlay. Identical modules appear gray, while differences are highlighted in red and green, with similarity percentage displayed.

Yes! All processing happens entirely in your browser, including QR generation, decoding, anatomy analysis, and comparison. Your data and images are never sent to any server.
