1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using KlockBase at klockbase.com (the “Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not access or use the Service. These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and KlockBase (“we,” “us,” or “our”).

2. Description of Service

KlockBase provides a collection of free online tools for developers, designers, and general users. These tools include, but are not limited to, text formatters, encoders/decoders, converters, generators, calculators, and image processing utilities.

All tools operate entirely within your web browser. No data you input into our tools is collected, stored, transmitted to, or processed by our servers.

3. User Responsibilities

When using the Service, you agree to:

  • Use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms
  • Not attempt to disrupt, damage, or impair the Service or its infrastructure
  • Not attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service
  • Not use automated systems (bots, scrapers) to access the Service in a manner that sends more requests than a human could reasonably produce
  • Not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our website content without prior written consent
  • Not use the Service for any illegal, harmful, or fraudulent activity

4. Intellectual Property

4.1 Our Content

The Service, including its design, layout, code, text, graphics, logos, and overall look and feel, is owned by KlockBase and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of our Service without our prior written consent.

4.2 Your Content

You retain full ownership of all data you input into our tools and all output generated by our tools. We claim no rights over your content. Since all processing happens client-side, we never have access to your content in the first place.

5. Advertising

The Service is supported by advertising, including advertisements provided by Google AdSense. By using the Service, you acknowledge that:

  • Advertisements may be displayed alongside our tools and content
  • Ad content is provided by third-party ad networks and we do not endorse or guarantee the products or services advertised
  • Ad networks may use cookies and similar technologies as described in our Privacy Policy
  • You should not use ad-blocking software in a way that interferes with the display of advertisements on our Service

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT ANY WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not warrant that:

  • The Service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free
  • The results obtained from the use of our tools will be accurate or reliable
  • Any defects in the Service will be corrected
  • The Service will meet your specific requirements

You use the Service at your own risk. You are solely responsible for verifying the accuracy of any output produced by our tools before relying on it for any purpose.

7. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, KLOCKBASE AND ITS OPERATOR SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, OR USE, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE, WHETHER BASED ON WARRANTY, CONTRACT, TORT (INCLUDING NEGLIGENCE), OR ANY OTHER LEGAL THEORY.

Our total liability for any claims arising from or related to the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid to us for using the Service (which is zero, as the Service is free).

8. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless KlockBase and its operator from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of a third party.

9. Third-Party Links and Services

The Service may contain links to third-party websites or services that are not owned or controlled by KlockBase. We have no control over, and assume no responsibility for, the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party websites or services. You access third-party websites at your own risk.

10. Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. When we make changes, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the Service after any changes to these Terms constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms. We encourage you to review these Terms periodically.

11. Termination

We reserve the right to restrict or terminate your access to the Service at any time, without notice, for any reason, including but not limited to a breach of these Terms. All provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination shall survive, including ownership provisions, warranty disclaimers, indemnity, and limitations of liability.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Korea, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Daegu, South Korea.

13. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect. The invalid or unenforceable provision shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it valid and enforceable.

14. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and KlockBase regarding the use of the Service and supersede all prior agreements and understandings.
