How does the fuel cost calculator work?

What is the difference between MPG and L/100km?
MPG (miles per gallon) is used in the United States and measures how far you can travel on one gallon of fuel. L/100km (liters per 100 kilometers) is the metric standard used in most other countries and measures how much fuel is needed to travel 100 km.
How do I find my vehicle fuel economy?
Check your vehicle owner manual, the sticker on the driver-side door jamb, or look up your make and model on the EPA fueleconomy.gov website. You can also calculate it by dividing miles driven by gallons used at your last fill-up.
